Oh, Tisdale

Oh, Tisdale

The only boy I will forever love, my little Tisdale. Out of all the puppers I have, he is my biggest lover. He just wants to snuggle and be touched. His face is always smiling, like his silly personality. About 6 months after I rescued Pennie, the nonprofit I was working for, one of the employees was fostering Mr. Tisdale and his mom. How he got his name? His foster mom named him and said that was where he and his mom were found. He was just this little 3lb ball of love. His mom was a cha-weenie. He had some very interesting markings so I knew his dad was definitely something else. The foster mom could not keep him as she already had a full house and with little kids at home, she was not able to spend the time to potty train this rambunctious little man. So, I had to have him. This was around the time of the nonprofits annual fundraiser, of which, against my intense appeal, they put him in the auction to find a good home. Now I understand that there are quite a few organizations that do this, however, I do not believe this is a good practice at all. Highest bidder wins, but does the dog? Are background checks going to happen…..no. Do you know if the dog or any animal for that matter are going to go to an actual home…..no. It bothered me so the evening of the event, I was the highest bidder. I took that little man home, and he got to meet his new sisters, Meka & Pennie. Tisdale was about Meka’s size then and Pennie was growing like a weed so she was much taller, but still very puppy at only 6 months old. Tisdale fit right in….he could cuddle and be gentle with Meka and then turn around and play rough with Pennie. All was happy in our house and we now had a full house…..for now.
