Pennie’s Pool

When I moved to my new house I knew I wanted a pool as that was my saving grace through COVID at my house in BA. My own little piece of paradise while stuck at home when not isolated at work. Friends could come over and social distance while enjoying the summer heat and cool pool water. The new house had plenty of yard space for the dogs while still putting in a fairly large pool and a raised flower bed, fire pit area, and lounge area. I enjoy doing yard/garden projects and then jumping in the pool to cool off. The pool installation was a nightmare, however, I had a lot of fun creating a fun, tropical outdoor space for me and the pups. I don’t get in the pool nearly as much as I did during COVID as now there are all kinds of other projects and work obligations, however, Pennie has her morning, afternoon, and evening swim…..almost every day. She is the first to get in the pool in spring and last swim of the season – which for her is typically late October. She’s crazy. If anyone comes over, she has to show off her skills of swimming and getting away from Tisdale chasing her. She greets people soaking wet and steals all towels to lay on to dry off…..that is the price you pay to come over to her pool.
