Blanket Obsession

At an early age Tisdale became obsessed with blankets. I would catch him non stop trying to pull my blanket off the bed and tear holes into it. Sometimes it was too late, other times I would catch him right as soon as he would start pulling on it and correct him immediately. As he has aged, he has for the most part stopped going after my blankets, however, his sisters’ blankets are fair game. He won’t pull his own blanket out of his crate and honestly doesn’t chew his own up, but he definitely attacks his sisters’ nonstop. If I don’t close their crates and have at least one latch done…..that blanket is a goner. Especially Pennie’s as her crate is right beside his and she typically has one of my old plush blankets that he had already put holes in. I’m not exactly sure what happens to the pieces that are missing as I don’t ever see them laying around the house or out in the yard. Its a mystery with Mr. Tisdale. If I try and take them from him, mid chew, he will latch on and is relentless on letting go. Watching him drag small blankets to king size blankets around the house is absolutely hilarious. He is not a large dog so dragging them around the house to bring them by my feet to chew on them is quite the task. Occasionally he will get so wrapped up in them that his head will go through one of his massive holes and now he has a cape! I think he believes he is the superhero of blanket destruction. He’s definitely my quirky boy!
