Let’s talk lighting

Lighting is key for healthy plants and growth. I would say 99% of my plants do not care for direct light as it can burn their leaves, dry them out quickly, and stunt growth. Indirect light is best and most grow lights that I have purchased over the years have been great supplements in the darker areas of my home. Luckily in my back yard I have a pool so the reflection of light bounces right into my main living room, which is where majority of my monstera deliciosa’s reside. They love it. I also supplement with grow lights in the morning hours. In my kitchen area, it faces north and although the front porch overhang is fairly large, there is quite a bit of indirect light that my plants get throughout the day. I also supplement with multiple grow lights since there is such a large overhang and I have maybe a little too many plants in that area. Each of the lights are attached to timers or have built in timers as to make it easy for me to set it to 4, 8, or 12 hour increments. Best things ever!
